Hi, I’m Tina.

I’m a multi-disciplinary product designer who enjoys research and strategy. I take pride in synthesizing user and business problems into product and engineering requirements. NY-based. My focus areas are designing for scale, flexibility, and customizability.

Previously, I studied Economics and Psychology at UC Berkeley. An interest in behavioral economics and human irrationality opened my eyes to how good design and intentional decisions could help take care of people and impact at scale.

I strive to craft thoughtful and thorough solutions to user problems through my work. I’m passionate about optimizing, and I work to create considerate, meaningful products that have the user’s best interests at heart and cut through cognitive clutter.

I am particularly interested in information architecture, scalability, and simplifying complex user flows. I value research-informed and data-supported design decisions. I enjoy being involved end to end, from product definition to QA.

I spend a lot of time drawingreading, and walking around. I also enjoy fashion, flowers, and long-form. I enjoy podcasts about Chinese history, internet culture, fashion, American politics, foreign policy, and law. I picked up fashion design again recently, and I like making too-tall layer cakes.
